4th Six Weeks

Everyone who was present today has passed the six weeks.

By the end of the next six weeks, you need to do two things:
1. Complete the project you are working on now.
2. Complete a 60 second (or longer) animation which instructs about some aspect covered in this description of how computers work. This animation must be 3-D, which means characters and action must have depth (Z) as well as the usual X & Y (up/down & left/right) movement.

DUE APRIL 16th.

Preserving the Past

This is great - making something old new again.
Just the kind of project an enterprising student could propose for the rest of the semester.

If you are interested in books, this link is to a book that was scanned by someone to share over the internet.
Preserving and sharing media from the past would be a great project that would benefit more than just yourself.
If it sounds interesting to you, let me know.

Verbal Offer

I also have an offer for a project from now to the end of the year. If you are interested, just ask.

SOS

Save your soul - or at least your grade.
If you don't have anything to show for your work in the last four weeks, and for the next two, you can do this...

1. Go to one of these sites: make or instructables
or choose one of your own.

2. Write a short proposal and submit.

3. After approval, make and complete the project by the end of the six weeks (2/21).
If it is late, you flat out fail the six weeks.

End of Six Weeks Impending

It would be in your best interest to visit my desk and show me what you have been doing during the last four weeks.
